Benefits

  • Put football in the spotlight at Wooster High School. Friday night games will bring the students and community together.
  • Increase student turnout for program. Football being an "event" at school will encourage potential athletes to come out.
  • Increased crowds for Wooster Football games. This will help all Wooster athletics, as the football gate makes up a large chunk of the athletic budget.
  • Allow lower level parents to attend more games. Freshmen games are played at 3:00 PM on Thursdays, making it difficult for parent to attend. With lights, our freshmen games will be at 5:00.
